just recently getting into Pinback and was wondering if anyone new of similiar type bands out there....
preferably local talent, but available music online.l

Pinback is amazing. Interpol is good, not the same style of music though. More 80s e'sque. Spoon is another good one. They are a little more rock but chill. Let me know what you think of these two.
