Self-Promote in the PBS

Hello dear friends and freelance colleagues. I was wondering how acceptable it is to self-promote (you're own site, portofolio, job you work for etc.. etc..) in the PBS section?
Personnaly, I was considering-it, but then I said to myself, wouldn't it be better to have some else promote-it for me?
After hours of heavy web surfing, this person ends up on your site and say wow! this is PBS worthy.I just hate free spam!_________________________

I don't think there is anything wrong with shameless self promotion. That is the only way to get yourself known.

There was a guy once who kept posting: Oops.. . I guess he made numerous mistakes, but then he dissappeared, taken away by the ....the.........

youll probably get more and better comments if you were to just start a thread with it.
so... start a thread and post it in the PBS if you think it rocks hardcore.
(just remember to post a link in the PVAN and not just do this <---------- cuz then i'll get crabmeister to beat you up!)
