REPLACEMENT FOR CDNOW

Amazon acquired CDNow, one of my favorite sites of all time, especially for researching music.
Amazon had good content, but if you've been there, you know how much of a pile of slop it is to navigate through and find anything of use.
I need a large, well organized database that was like CDNow. Any suggestions would greatly fix my tremendous music Jones. Thanks in advance.

I liked cd now cause it was alot less random than amazon. And you had similar artists features along with short-bios. Unless I am mistaken with another site!
I hate companies being bought out. I think that is so against the spirit of capitalism and free-enterprise. Pretty soon we'll all be standing in line to get all our products from that one single remaining mother-company, just like communism.

I've started a thread one week ago about the same thing.Amazon is purely not ergonomic compare to the old CDNOW ....
