pd150 price rage ...!

Why the hell is there such huge price range. In some places (i concidered only the ones close to my house -- NYC -- with adreses on their websites) going as low as $2600 and as high as $3500. That's $900 difference.
Obviously, since i'm a student i would rather go with the cheapes possible, yet still i can't understand why some places would be so "expensive" and other so "cheap"

in new york you have the rent factor.
so half the time you are really paying the stores rent.

be careful...some of those cheaper places sell grey-market items..usually from japan. or they separate the items in the box and sell them individually.
i bought a nikon d100 from a place in brooklyn over the internet. it said it was $1300, compared to the usual $2200. it was only the body...no battery, no software, no US warranty. and it was $150 to ship it 3 day ups...
just watch those guys, there's usually a reason it's so cheap.

yeah, some of the things u r telling me i herard from the tech from my school. that's the reason why i want to deal with places with actual addresses (no over the net shit). I want to go there and ask all the questions such as wrranty, what's in the box (battery) etc. On one hand i know i shouldn't trust that much tose "cheap" guys, on the other paying $3600 for the camera from B&H...
