I was in Montreal 2 weeks ago and had a wicked time, and I am interested in trying to find a decent design program there so i can live in the city next year.
are there any decent schools? I checked Concordia's site and the Image and Sound program seemed kinda interesting...any advice you could lend would be greatly appreciated!

Do me a favor and do NOT go to Academie du Design or College Lasalle. I quit at Lasalle after a month. Waste of money and waste of time. Good looking chicks tho.
Btw. Concordia is building a new Media Center on St-Catherine. It's supposed to be the most modern media school in Canada. Worth a look.

I wish someone had told me before i joined the Academy , dang ehehhe , -16 000$ in my bank account ... Nevertheless it was still cool , a few cool and talented teachers , tons of CHICKS ( they offer Fashion design course , chicks dig that )
and made a few good friends...I agree tho that you probably can find a better place.

Heh Louno, when did you graduate from there? You're right, you don't learn much there. The teachers don't know shit. Still, I don't regret it. It was the best year of my life, I made good friends there, and one of them really brought me into the world of design. Most of my class ended up suing the school, but bah. It gave me a degree and a nice start. I just needed an easy year after McGill and I got what I wanted.
