the link you have to the left i hit first and noticed the + - with the ambience the minus didn't work.
then i hit this link and noticed the color changes each time you visit the site... right?!? the minus sign now works.
so overall i like the design of the site and how it works. i'm not sure about one or two of the colors that are generated though. there was this really bad blue-green teal color. not my taste but what do i know.

Excellent. I dig it a lot.
Clean and minimal is the best.

seems really too simple for you to get design jobs... so many are so talented out there... do more research on your competition's web presence and then come back to your site...
i think the fonts are too big and the colours arent pleasing... designers are supposed to set the bar... keep pluggin.. good luck.

The site may be fabulous, but I can't tell because your server is sending the html file with a mimetype of "text/plain" (instead of text/html), so it shows up in my browser as it would in a text editor .. as plain text.
MSIE disrespects the mime information supplied by servers, so most visitors to your site will see it as you do ... but you should straighten this issue out in case a potential client or employer who doesn't use MSIE lands on your site.

bump. anyone else having trouble seeing my index file. i added another index.html file to the shtml file, cause that's the file type the server recognizes in the root. damn thing.
any more feeddback?
- monokrom0
Hmmm... it's still coming through as text/plain (http://promo.remotectrl.org/ind... Does your hosting come with a "control panel"? It should have a place in there where you can attach certain file extensions to certain mime types.
I'm looking forward to checking your site out.

i changed the MIME settings to recognize shtml as a text/html
for some stupid reason, on that particular doman, i have to use shtml, bitch-ass.
- monokrom0
Yup - index.html works fine.
Good job! Good luck on the interview too!
