Nijntje by famous Dutch children's book illustrator Dick Bruna.
I have seen a documentary about him...this man is so precise...and seems to think things over many, many times. Color, layout, balance..
Always friendly, always the eyes pointed at the reader....
Master of simplicity.
I just think he deserves a site for adults/designers, showing off his works, not a flash version of his briliant drawings.
He's extremely popular in Japan now btw.

I have seen that documentary too.
The guy is loaded, he has a team of people who are always looking for nijntjeclones so they can stop the fabrication of fakeNijntje stuff.
