if you scale a vector file in after effects it should still be sharp, but i just did some rendering and it looks all blurry...
i hope i can fix this without replacing the file...
anyone?

you need to turn on the "continuous rasterization" switch on the layer with the vector artwork. It's the one that looks like a little "sun"--between the "shy" and "quality" toggles.
(You may need to scale the artwork back/to 100% before you turn it on.)
