why?
Too many different fonts, the content in the boxes dissapear when hovering then (annoying). It seems like every style is integrated, i can see retro, "steel-like", classic, bitmap and on top of that beveled buttons. I say stick to one - make up your mind!

oh.. and wasn't this site requesting feedback like yesterday?

(2? - thats really poor) Thanks, anyone else.

The design doesn't really say 'we provide emergency vehicles'. One reason might be the conflicting colour scheme, emergency makes me think red, yellow, blue...not green.
Also the transitions seem slow when the content is all about fast reaction, speed and urgency.

looks ok.
But I would NEVER make a site like ths for my clients....I hate the wait....I want to get to the content ASAP, don't want to first see all the flashy bellls and whisthles.....very annoying...
I give you a 6.5 for the efforts you put into it though.
- Scotty5120
(6.5 - thats above average)
Interesting, I get a 2 and a 6.5

besides the fact that it's very 2advanced-y, you did put alot of work into it.
the hip hop loop is annoying, and not in synch.and there are too many navigational elements in the site, it should be more consistant.

If you really need to ask, it's not worth posting. If you don't have faith in your own skills then you better go back to the drawing board.

I would have to agree with Bluejam on the concept and colors.

my rating and 8.
-But everything is very smooth, nice colour scheme
-loading time for the "still underconstruction" takes awhile for section that doesn't have anything.

Eric the PV-AN is all about posting one's work for feedback. It doesn't mean that he lacks confidence.

(2 again) fair enough
I have faith in my own skills.
Everyone likes to hear what everyone has to say when they get a site launched - right.
I also have faith in my customer....they really like the site.
Therefore I am happy.

i think a 2 is a slap in the fuckin face with a design like this. i can tell you put some tremendous amount of effort into it. its very clean, its smooth, transitions arent too long like some flash sites. i dont see too many different fonts. you have a serif font, a sans serif font, and a pixel font. as for one person saying "i would never make this for a client." all i got to say to that is, you obviously have a passion for this whether its client or not - its still your work and you should be proud of it.
flash: 9
color scheme: 5
font scheme: 5
layout: 6
overall: 8btw - i love your music player. graphics are outstanding!

I also think he knows flash tricks inside and out, but he's over-done it on this site.
the content gets lost and the focal point becomes the flash goodies.
- matt240
looks like you got pretty good flash skills but I would look into your typography and composition more.
Yep, this is a place to come and recieve feedback, critisicsm, etc.. keep up the good work

I'm a huge supporter of flash, but its not terribly bad guys. It's definately functional

I think the timing is what kills it. Long waits are a thing of the past- especially after a 'preloader.' I would deliver the content quickly and then if you still want smooth, slowish transitions let them finish out after the text has appeared.

im going to have to agree with mick - a bit over the top in including every flash trick you can manage.
