I hate it when sites resize my browser window, like that IdiotCase dude. James, isn't it?
- kodap0
yeah, I also hate when that happens

I hate it when all you hear are people whining about things that know one else really cares about.
So I guess all you whiners hate my site, the piece I did for DFF, the XTR Shimano site and anything else I did with a PO? You know what, I really don't care.

Hey, d5ive, as long as you don't resize my browser, I love you.
I'm not particularly fond of resizing it back again every time some stupid javascript resizes it from my favorite size.

Really.
Christ, push the x button and get on with your lives. The fact that someone felt it necessary to provide a blank slate for which to accomplish something really shouldn't rank up there with totalitarianism, hunger and people who cut you off in traffic.

I fully respect individual preferences. But ask your self this. Aren't you visiting someone else's work? A site is like someone's home. You are visting and they have it designed and configured the way they choose. You don't go into someone's pad and try to move the furniture around and repaint their walls cause you don't like the colors. It's all subjective. Lighten up and let people express themselves the way they want. And don't forget to wipe your shoes off at the door.

Yeah but listen, d5ive, by resizing MY browser window, they are in fact rearranging MY living room. I don't care about what happens inside the walls of my browser, as long as the walls of my browser stays.
I'd rather had 15 popups than a resized browser window.
I think your site looks great in a popup window. The popup helps define the borders of your interface, and generally serves its purpose.

Please don't tell me you disagree with THAT, d5ive.
- d5ive0
You still are stepping into someone else's home. You're choosing to go there.

Yes, I would agree with that _IF_ I knew before I came that my walls would be moved around. A little warning before it happened would be nice.
Try yourself. Visit idiocase.com (or.net / .org /.whatever). Do you see any warnings of any kind? Do you like it that he resizes your browser window without even asking? It's like Gator, I tell you.

i found the maximize browser script more annoying, since i'm using 2 monitors to display
