Where is the best place to look online?
Anyone here living in a cool Toronto Apartment complex?

There are some really nice condos going up around Sheppard and Bayview, they look like New York style apartments, can't remember the name, but if you want me to find out i can.

Do they look like the chrysler building in NYC?? I think they are kind of tacky. But haven't seen the inside. There are a few condo developement around my area. On King and Sherbourne. Not sure when they will be finished.

yeah those are the ones, i think they look kinda hype form the outside, and the inside looks damn sweet.

the complex was featured on the news in the summer, I suppose the penthouse suite will be sweet. But so far away. I'm a downtown boy and probably won't survive up there.

Have you considered Richmond Hill?

eeww! who would want to live in one of those mass produced 'lofts' that were built yesterday ut are made to look like they used to be an old factory of whatever... pointless, not to mention expensive!
If I were moving back to toronto, I'd be all over high park. great place, rent is a little high, but the houses around there really have character. and the community and park are nice.

little italy - college st.
anywhere else is either too expensive, or to remote.
here's the thing...little italy is crammed to the rafters with middle-age to retired italian (of course) and portugese familys that rent out floors of their houses to folks...under the table too usually....(so the rent is SUPER affordable...)
lived the last 4-5 years in that neighborhood....
the 1st place was at shaw and college, and we had 2 floors of a 3 floor house...for 900 a month...it was frickin AWESOME...
last place was for about 875 or so a month, and was just one floor, but really nice....
just wander up to college and start walking around the residential area north of college...between, say, clinton and ossington...you'll see shitloads of 'room for rent' or floor for rent signs...
anyhow, best of luck
