I figured I'd send this one out to the NT people before posting it for the wolves on craigs list. Basically, a room opened up in my loft and we're looking for someone to take it. Safe neighborhood, though looks rough... here are the general stats:

medium size room
start 1/15/03Montrose stop on L train. 3 blocks from station, 15-20 min to city.
3 m's looking for m/f to share room in 1100 sf loft space.
large living room space, plenty of storage, 12' foot ceilings.
Artist In Residence building with a strong artist community. w/d on floor.*Once home to Rooftop Films*

Sorry butswaying off topic slightly. I am not in the market for a new pad but. I wanted to say that place would be a dream...I always wanted to live in a loft in NY. Mind posting some pics of the pad, or email if you don't want it tossed on the web. I would appreciate it.

i agree. that sounds sweet. if i had the first months rent saved up and a squigee (sp?), i'd be there.
i'd like to see some photos too, just to see what im missing out on.

Seriously, anyone who is looking is gretting a deal - room is about 80 sq ft - avg size for many ny pads. We finished rebuilding the place in March, so you wouldn'y have to build your own walls or anything. Utilities are incl, pay a base fee ($8) for the telephone + DSL if you want (12.00). One guy is a DVD/ Media artist, one guy is a 3D illustrator, and I'm a web developer. Good company...

hmmm ive always wanted to move to nyc... if i only i knew i could land a job.
