Flash/Quicktime question

    I'm working on a display application. We're running a Flash 6 movie with loads of XML calling dynamic content. We want to put this onto top of a Quicktime background (like you get on the telly) but when the QT is running the whole thing is jerky. The .swf has no motion on it. Anyone know how to do this smoothly?
