Logo Question

I recently did a set of 5 logos for a client. My client asked me if they could use the logos on another set of collateral - the contract I had was for web usage only. I agreed and let them do it for free. I did it in hopes that I would get to do another set for an additional project and it worked. I'll charge them for additional usage from here on.
The question is this - they are altering them slightly for the other use and while not the end of the world, its bugs me because its my work and people will see it differently than I intended.
Any thoughts on how I should address this?

If they paid you, you gotta' let it go. Just keep the originals for your portfolio.

They paid me, but for the original usage only. The additional usage has been donated.
Either way - I just feel the right thing to do is to say something as the designer.

Clients change things all the time man. You did your work and got paid. Keep the great logos you like for your portfolio and move on.

lock house wih windowbars, put house on fire.....and arrange a lil annoying choir singing Christmas songs in front of house....while flames reach rooftop and the client and his wife & children are screaming for forgiveness.....
well,
that is usually how i treat bad clients.....

I usually attach razorblades to some fishing line 1.5 inches apart, put this line inside a copper tube and stuff it up the clients arse and carefully remove the copper tube leaving the razor blades deep up his chute.
But only if I have the time
