i took rational courses
I find it interesting but it seems to repeat what you could find on the web

not talking about the courses, talking about the process.
if you took the courses, you should know the process, right?
Whether you actually adopt RUP or not, the deliverables and milestones alone are a great process model.

yes are useful
do you think it applies to creative process though?
- the_user0
definitely.
I spend most of my time thees days designing interfaces and workflow for web applications.
I find it extremely difficult and inefficient to try and do this without use cases and/or user-flow diagrams.
I guess it all depends on the complexity of the subject matter.

I always use a process. If you dont' - you'll never finish the job and there comes a point where farting around starts costing you money.

i agree. there are tons of processes out there that are useful. it all depends on your work style. find one that fits and stick to it. you will be more efficient in your work, thereby making more time to do more work, which creates more $. Simple.
