That Madonna tune is ok.....but...NOT for a new James Bond....
Doesn't fit 007's image....
Must be more orchestrated....
Like that Ego Media tune....Timber by Grantby...that would do....or any other....
but not this...

its got nothing to do with james bond, but why do intel INSIST on having that fucking grating little jingle whenever their product is mentioned on tv. it just breaks up the flow of the ad. imagine how pissed off you'd be if you came up with a cracking concept for an ad for a pc and you had to stop half way through for that shite little jingle. it does nothing for the brand
evil.

oh, and another one. newstoday jingle is funny the first time, but on the hudredth refresh?...gnnnnnr.

I actually like that song (not the Intel one - although I think it's been pretty successful and not too annoying). But I agree that some of the better ones were done more traditionally. Well, what about 'Live and Let Die'? It gets pretty rock and rollin', and given when it was written I guess it shouldn't be too surprising the music is keeping with the times.

just got back from seeing the film. madonna's actually in it. only a small part tho. It seems they've just lost the whole james bond idea. its all bad acting and bad one-liners all jazzed up with a big special effects budget.... sad really.

James Bond films have always been about bad acting and in general all around artifice.

The song is trash,..Madonna pissed on 40 years of Bond tradition, becuase well,..she's Madonna. Check out the theme to "The world is not enough" by Garbage,..that's what a Bond song is supposed to sound like.
The first half of DAD is darn good, its' the second hald where it falters,...really bad CGI too.

i agree with 3cy. The main theme for a Bond movieshould always be orchestrated... Even Tina (with that song written by Bono) was better...
