What about Portland, OR - I'm taking a trip there shortly. Any things I shouldn't miss?

SF has nothing on Seattle..
Seattle is smaller and cleaner and way easier to get around..

I've been down for gettin' some brew.. I love Seattle. Lived here all my life (well, the area anway)
Elysian..? cripes, have I not heard of it, where is it?
ditto on Mama's.

Cinder, the Dr. Seuss lookin' color-blob shit?
that's weird-ass, COOL though, drive by there nearly everyday.
ATTN:
everyone that's thinking of moving here, DON'T! we've too many damn people here as it is for such a small city. traffic is getting ridiculous.

Elysian is on Pine in Capital Hill (community uphill from downtown). Sexy waitresses ;)

- jking760
let's have the portland/seattle debate..
we know who would win, but let's just do it for shits and giggles!

word.
Seattle is fairly empty now.
The problem is not overpopulation - it's the complete lack of movement by the government to get any sort of mass transit system going in the city.
But, looks like things will start moving - finally.
If Tim Eyman doesn't ruin it all.
