I got handed some cd-rom work this morning and it's for The Pension Service.
Just been going through the whole friggin website and this sorry excuse for a brand guidline pdf, and what do I find at the end of it:

ah the sites ok, I hate the home page though I like the pages further in...
Designing for the government is just a fuckin ball ache. We did the website, iDTV, and tv ads and banner ad campaign, and today they announce a shake up of the pension system... They dont know their a**e from their elbow sometimes...
who's the company your working for doing the CD?

I have to say that I am pretty impressed with it, for being a .gov site and all. I mean usually you get some crappy site with an hr line and blinking text.

yeah exactly - thats why I like it - it's just really refreshing to see a gvt site like that.
