I am a one man band who uses freelancers when needed. Promote my self as a small agency though. Worked from home for 2 years - now have a dedicated office in west london. I charge between £250 and £500 per day depending on client and budgets etc.......no job is too small.

Charging about £200 - £250 per day for print and interactive work, considering upping it a bit for any new clients I take on that I get as it seems a bit low compared to other people and nobody has complained about the cost yet.

In Australia I charged 25-30$ per hour at first, then went to 50$ when I had more experience, and sites were about AU$3,000. (AU$ is about half the US$)
Now in Spain, I charge 25€ per hour, about 3,000€ per site.
Any more SPanish/European prices?? I´m still feeling the market...

ANTIDADI, That means it take syou an average of 120hrs to build a web site. You sure?

Yeah, i´m sure. I count it like thus: (aprox)
6 hs needs analysis
12 hs funcional solutions
12 hs visual proposals (guidelines doco/interface finals)
3 hs tech proposal
6 hs build structure
6 hs/page (functional)
data input: 4 hs/page
QA, testing, changes:12 hs
Admin: add 12% padding
... and that about works out.I´m quite a fast designer - however i´ve learned to include twice the hours you think it will take. (some people say 3 times)... nothing ever takes just 5 minutes; specially if the client has something to say.
These rates kinda cover my ass and allow me to work at a nice pace.

southeast USA. most of my freelance is for needy causes, so i lower my rates drastically. right now, i am doing a brochure for a school system for lower income families.
im charging 20 an hour for that, about $200 total. and i plan to work over if necessary at no charge. i like what they are doing and i respect them... thus the low rate. =)
the same thing for a big company would run more like $1000 and up.
web design i stick to 40 because i am only a moderate web designer.
freelance print can go from 40-80 an hour depending on the client.
