I'm seeing some aweful spelling here.
What gives?
All these folks calling themselves designers and they have trouble with 'their / there / they're"
Am I the only one here that is vexed by poor splling?

Had to bring it back for the New Year. Maybe I'm too anal, but run your post through a spell check. PV-AN is understandable as it is informal, but the NTB and PBS...
great, no grate.

those arent typos. don you know that our feerless leder george is redefining the engesh langage? what kind of patriat are yous anywey?

iam french-candian, so I make a lots of error when I write in english. Sorry :(|

So you're assuming that all the people who visit NT have english as their native language?
- Mo20
I guess I assumed it was since the site is in English, without thinking about it. Don't mean to offend any people who have English as their second language. But, if you're posting on NTB maybe a little more care should be put in.
Idea for redesign: Country of origin next to name...

Instant Messenger and chatting online have turned our brains to pudding. BTW, the REAL definition of a word is a group of letters that convey meaning.. so, if you GET it in context, it's alright. however, if you're typing up some shit for a client or your boss, get your spelling/grammer down.
anybody remember the old-school MSN chat with the comic characters and the word bubbles? expressions and all, that was sweet, way ahead of its time!

right on macasoFL.
English is my second language so I always check what I've typed twice before the submit-click. Still, people should polish up their grammar skill to avoid embarrassment.

Dude you even spelled spelling wrong.
- robot90
as far as I know, this forum doesn't have an "edit post" feature, or else we'd see lots of people going back and fixing the spelling and grammar errors. I think most mistakes are because people type stuff out quicky while they're thinking about other things.
Just like Venice, I always double check my message before I send it, I've saved lots of mistakes that way and I'm a native English speaker.
