the original person just wanted to know if there are any latino bloggers, that is, bloggers by latinos and/or spanish.
- Bizco20
I am a latino and am offended by the term "blogger". I would prefer
a more pc term like
"salsa monkey" or "raft hugger"
- mayo0
damn Bizco, i just choked on my juice after reading that
- Raul0

- SerEsHacer0

What the hell are "latinos"?
People who the spoken language comes from Latin? If it is that I'm very proud to be a "latino". And I'm portuguese. Are you counting with italians also?
Let's try to be more pollited with words. Imagine the phrase :Are there any beefs bloggers around? Would you like it if you're an american?

Portuguse, Italian and Greeks are Europeans.Going back to the blog...
I am sure there are blogs site by latinos. But I haven't come across many. Everyone seems to do sites mainly in English.

If I ever get the chance to name a gang, or a team of any sort, I think I'll call then 'the bloggers'. we'll probably get beat up a lot, but it will be worth it.

Damn, didn't figure that the term "latino" was politically incorrect. I guess the same goes for Hispanic...does that mean people that were born in Hispanola? Lot's of people use the term Latino here in California. Is Raza better?
We started the thread a while back to make a listing of blogs with a (insert preffered racial/cultural nomenclature) point of view.
- surfito0
weres hispanola at?
- surfito0
latino is not politicaly incorrect.
but i rather call my self hispanic, and since im from hispaniola i guess i can right?nah, seriously, hispanic is better word if youre looking for spanish speaking people.
hispanic american if youre looking for americans.
- pocho0
Exactly! I remember in high school this friend of mine went off on our History teacher for talking about "Hispanics in Southern California". He asked the teacher where Hispanola was.
I never could figure that out.
- surfito0
hispaniola is the island shared by dominican republic and haiti in the caribbean.
and the name in spanish means la espaƱola, which means from spain.
so i guess we are all really from spain?
you see how all categorization on people all they do is cause segregation instead of identification?
thats why the social security system in usa is the best way to identify people.
by a number.
im number one, first come first serve, and now im gonna go join the raelly movement and have sex 24 7 and become an alien ambassador, and redesign that clonaid site cause it sucks too much and put a blogg in it.
- surfito0

As for me I prefer to use the word "hispanic". Born and raised in south texas...McAllen to be exact.
