I'm not opening a can of beans demanding "innovative". First off I never claimed house nor hip hop was innovative.
I go out to parties/clubs every weekend and hear DnB DJs probably around 2x a month. I'm not being naive when I say I think DnB is stale....the reason I'm "not feeling it" is precisely because I haven't heard any new sounds coming from the DnB speakers. I was a die hard fan of drum and bass a while back ago when fresh ideas were happening and new sounds were coming out by the crateload.
Nowadays, when I listen to Drum and Bass, I'm hearing the same sounds, same drums, etc...
I haven't checked out the tunes you named Warland, but if you tell me there are new things happening in those songs, I will definately check 'em out. I'm not saying there aren't good songs coming out from producers, I'm just saying they're doing the same shit.
Prove me wrong.
