i think that miguel hahn is wright ,and that the european hip hop is more relistic than american , i am not talking about music but about lyrics . American clip movies give us false image , the hip hop is a mode of comunicacion , but not a show!!!

actually with j5 I'll politely disagree. I'll still get violent with blazing arrow and melodica...cos there's no comparison.

Bianfa, i think you are rigth, hip hop is expresion. Anyway, i'm not saying there are no good hi hop group in us(wath a blasphemi), but rigth now eurpoe is on one level with US. And hip hop here is growing, and the underground is great, a lot of demo tapes and people doing hip hop for fun.

Japanese hip hop is awesome.
i remember back in early 90s, duo called Brother MC. they had good beat and good moves.but you might think its crap cause one, you dont understand the language and the culture behind it, second, you have it set in your mind that any US hip hop is better no matter what.
keep an open mind. dont dismiss things cause they are not the orignators.

i grew up with hip hop and funk..
so i am very fond of classics to present but i gave others a chance.Stereo MCs are two white guys from UK (i think) but they had good beats.. they may have been a one hit wonder in US but they were pretty styling in europe. correct me if i am, any europeans.

just like any art, music is subjective. you might not like it cause you think you know whats real hip hop or not and thats your opinion. and you are not Dr Dre.there is a reason why some them so called crap hip hop in euro are popular and not here. they suit the region.

ppl get inspired intentionally or unintentionally. its taking an idea and making your own. ask any famous artist and they will tell you who their infulences are.
