just wondering if there are any deaf designer you know or if you're one of them, please tag it here or email me. i'd love to meet deaf designers as i'm one of them. it's hard to find a good one around. thanks!

actually one of my friends is almost deaf and he is a pretty good designer. it takes a bit of yelling to have a conversation, but he is one of the nicest people i know.
the other funny thing is that he is also gay, and works as a publishing director at hot rod magazine! pretty cool eh?

One of my buddies has gone through several brain surgeries in the last year which has left him with only a little hearing in his left ear. Lots of yelling and making sure you're on the left side.
He's the best designer I know. I'm not joking. He's in his 50's and has been a big designer in town for years. Has been quite the mentor for me.

im a multimedia arts student in glasgow, scotland.
also a member of a charity that helps people with physical disabilities.
ive been interested in the barriers people with disabilities face when working with design etc.
have you any work online?

my grandfather used to be a preacher to the deaf, and my uncle is deaf. But neither of them were designers.

actually I think Macromedia has a special unit of their company and suite devoted entirely to disabled users, etc. nice!

I do not no any deaf designers.
My brother was deaf but he died when I was 7 years old.
I miss him so mush. I all-way wonder what he would have been when he turned into a man.?????

I know a girl who is deaf all her life, and she finished her graphic design education a few years ago.
The last thing I heard of her was when she was working at a pretty good (tho be it a bit boring) design firm here.
She is pretty dedicated to her job, I think(&hope) she does well now.
I feel bad about lacking the proper skills to communicate with her...i should learn sign-language ( is that correct English? "sign language"?).
I don't know if she has a website up.
