If you get the chance, you should check out Eric Bana in Chopper.

Agreed TF. but it can be argued that the CG HULK is achieving its goal and presenting us with a realized cinematic HULK. My complaint is it has no style. It's cartoony. It's extremely disappointing just like the American GODZILLA (which had a fantastic CG beast...just not Godzilla). Here, we have something that may cling to the image of the comic book HULK a little too MUCH.

i heard tell that the goal for CGI was to retain some resemblance of Eric Bana...iow, not just replace this guy with a big monster, but to think “what would this guy look like if he got big, green, and strong?”...i didnt get a close enough look at the superbowl spot to tell if they made that a reality. that would have been a big cinematic improvement over the comics

Yeah - well - It is no wonder, is it ? Illustrators and Digital Artists alike seem these days to think a Film like : Matrix, is the end all, be all, instead of a film like : The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, lets say.
No concern for Real human emotions ... Only for what is percieved to be, for lack of a better word : Cool.
I could go on about human suffering and how it is the life blood of good art but ...
... I'd better get back to work.
Hulk was my favorite as a kid. When I was 3 I was prone to ripping my shirts in half.

this movie looks hella wack. the hulk looks like a jello mold of CG and hes throwing around these tanks like airplanes. its just a little too overboard for me.

the old school made for tv movies that used to air back in the 80s of the incredible hulk were off the hook. it had horror...this is a goddamn saturday morning cartoon.

Agreed Mr. nice guy and TF. But the tanks ARE light as a feather for the HULK. But to have him swing a tank around in one frame seems exactly like a cartoon than a live action film regardless of proper light and shadow and texturing. the entire concept of that scene is cartoony. Same goes for the HULK in general. I would say the trick is to pull it off with style and believe-ability. Not apparent here. there is some resemblence to Bana...but that's what is making HULK look pretty stupid.

il buono, il brutto, il cattivo, = classic along with the two previous films.
jodorowsky will save us all.
