My girl loves that movie, she made me watch it. Yeah, nice (and quite silly, too "french" for my tastes). Delicatessen was waaaaaaaaaaaaay better.

city if lost children was pretty brilliant.

loved it...
thought it was a beautiful movie..
city of lost children was another fav..but i thought amelie was slightly more coherent as a movie..

City of Lost Children was the "beginning of the end" for Jeunet. Really, really boring (visually brilliant tho, due to his visual talent). And then came Alien Resurrection, an insult for the fans of the saga like me. I don't even consider that crap as part of the Alien saga. Just a big pile of nonsense crap. What was that creepy half human-half alien creature weeping?! Ridiculous...

I've seen that girl in many other French movies. Why are French movies so complicated, even when they are in sub titles? :)
- mayo0
the part where her heart's so sad. she turns into water is one of the best scenes i've ever seen

I luv french movies..well lucky for me i'm fluent with french speaking/writing cos i hate readin subs...but french movies are sometimes so much better than Hollywood movies.. they make u reflect n contemplate.. i guess they are targeted at a more mature, intellectual audience..n their scripts are solid...thats mainly why hollywood often buys their scripts n remake french movies..i'm not gonna state examples..anywayz, enjoy the real cinema!

its a real feel-good kinda film.
seemingly in france people were going to see it the cinema like two or three times on average cos it just made their day and cheered them up.
