When I "Export to tape" Premiere take control of the camera (Canon Elura 2) as it should and says it is "recording" as the exported movie plays full screen on my monitor. However, the video simply ain't makin' to the camera...just a blue screen and nothing is recorded. Sometimes it records, but just a couple choppy seconds of a 10 second clip.
Is it hardware? Is it my export settings? Should I be using "DV playback" or "Quicktime"?
Any help would be appreciated, ven if it's just a link to a DV message board that actually gives answers to your queries.

More details required, e.g. OS, version of Premiere 5/6/6.5? (only 5.1c/6/6.5 on Mac exports to DV tape..
Can you view the movie on the camera if you scrub in the timeline?
What are your playback settings on? (Project>Project Settings>General, then click on playback settings)
Make sure it is set on the output device not the desktop...
