Illustration especially developed for OCAS MAGAZINE, Jazz/Fernando Bonassi section. The great challenge of this work was the possibility of putting together an extremely highly refined concept, complex sometimes, with a new dinamic esthetic condition and harmonize them so that it could fit on the editorial
way of the magazine. The main character, at the same time Jocasta, remind us of a Greek beauty ideal, which is represented here by the lack of her left arm, directly refering to Milo Venus, otherwise by her right side there are two flaming hearts, invoking the image of incest and the deadly loving triangle Jocasta, Laio and Édipo; Ornaments and organic shapes are the re-reading of the graphic patterns used
in materials and ceramics of the Old Greece.
    It´s worthwhile!
