George Plimpton, the creator of " journalism," will be missed. He died at age 76 late last night. Plimpton edited The Paris Review for over 50 years and was one of America's big shot literary figures, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Mailer, Updike, and Terry Southern. Much respect.
