a friend of mine just sent me this link... looks like a couple of goofballs down the street are making a climbing robot! they're in search of climbing holds to test on, so if you have any spare holds and live near Palo Alto, CA, head over to Stanford's Aerospace Robotics Lab and contribute. Living here has been quite an experience, let me tell you.
