Moshino says he was offered to work on Nike's "Player's Delight" campaign in 1999 and 2000, conceptualizing the company's television commercials, character design, and print ads illustration. Toshiba asked him to design a microwave oven and Sony tapped him to create its robotic pet dog, AIBO. The robo-mutt was such a hit that 3,000 units - priced at US$2,500 apiece - were sold out in 20 minutes when it first came out in Tokyo in 1999
