the macromedia partner alliance conference on mar 11 in nyc was interesting. they covered best practices for flash mx e-commerce development (which blows HTML out of the BOX!), rich internet applications, and database integration. The conference was by private invite only. I luv flash. Its getting to the point that whenever I see an html site that blinks from page to page, and espcially frame based columns of verdana i just cringe. That shit is so ovah...clock it! Is it just me or is being an Interactive Designer becoming cool again. Remember when acid house was the shit back in 89 in the city. While in the provinces all you got was MTV which was giving you a heavy rotation of White Snake, and Twisted Sister? What is up with that? MTV has done an excellent job of destroying the true progressive spirit of rock n' roll in american youth. Will America ever have a music star like GOLDIE? thoughts. talk amongst yourselves...
