The Hurricane Poster Project is finally wrapping up! We will be selling posters until June 24th, and then archiving the remaining posters for exhibitions and posterity. Check out the website now for your last chance to purchase a limited edition poster!
After 22 months, 180 different posters from around the world, exhibitions in the United States and Europe, numerous design awards, and over $50,000 raised for hurricane victims, we would like to thank everyone who was involved with making this project a success. The idea was born in the early hours after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, and quickly became a massive undertaking. Twenty-four hours after conceiving the idea, we were receiving emails from around the world. Twenty-two months later, we can honestly say that we would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you to all of the artists and designers who participated – Thank you to the thousands of people who either purchased posters or send us letters of support.
