Milton Court is a stunning piece of ‘Brutalist’ concrete architecture. Gritty and uncompromisingly 60s, the architects lavished a great deal of care on it creating an interesting and dramatic building that combined a range of uses: fire station, public weighbridge, mortuary and coroner’s court, social services offices, offices for other city functions, and residential flats for ‘key workers.’
