    I moved to Frisco in 98 and lived in a one room hotel at the height of the dot com boom. I would have drinks at The Owl Tree bar on Post and Taylor. It used to be an old brothel and it was filled from floor to ceiling with pictures and statues of owls. I convinced Bobby, the grumpy old owner, that, for a bartab, I could build a website for him with a web camera. It was one of my first and sillest sites I've ever designed and it's still up. I just found out Bobby passed away on Sept. 14, I hope he's serving martini's in Heaven.
