This is a very sad moment in media history. Just as when the editors at Newsweek thought it was ok and intellectually viable to put the 'Bell Curve' on the cover. But these days apparently it's o.k. to promote this kind of thinking. I'm afraid that the majority uses the status quo common denomenator intellect (and below) of ethnic minorites to justify and affirm so much psychological damage across the board in media. It's painful to realize that executives and producers at CBS think that this is 'interesting' or innocous. Perhaps if these execs/producers could walk for one day in my shoes as an ethnic minority who doesn't live in any of the inarticulate, nouveau millionaire, or ghetto boxes and stereotypes the entertainment industry has built for us. If they had to get up everyday and wage the battle against prejudice vs. image. Perhaps then they would feel my pain over their racial segregation game.
