I worked closely with Graeme or Grez, as his friends call him during the ATTIK MA at the University of Huddersfield for 11 months. He was instrumental in the manic creative force which became “EDIT-ION” a process driven design and image conscious t-shirt manufacturing and publishing venture.
I must say he is quintessentially English. Grez is the eccentric craftsman/inventor. His influences include a synthesis of European couture fashion and the lowbrow aspects of British life. Perhaps it is this combination that caused famed designer Stefan Sagmeister to invite Grez for coffee to discuss design with him on Grez’s next visit to New York.
