  There have been many discussions about the disastrous logo design of the FIFA football world championship which does not fit with the standards of the German design culture. Now, just a few months before the beginning of the games, the Fifa wants to enforce their strict rules regarding the usage of the official logo and more than 70 other trademarks like Word Championship 2006 or Germany 2006.
  Then FC-Icon 06 decided to stop this adversarial behaviour and invite designers to design logos and icons which disregard the FIFA guidelines. These logos can be use by organizations, companies and individuals without any charge.
  We appeal for your support: Send your ideas and use the logos for your event to create a counterpart to the smilie-logo.
