The concept of the summer 2006 exhibition at the Fiskars Village Copper Smithy will be transformation. Central to the works in the exhibition will be the birth of something new out of a pre-existing idea, material, concept, or phenomenon. The REMIX exhibition aims to expand on the more familiar notion of reusing existing materials and products in art works that often highlight ecological concerns.
