DonDigital, he's what you do.
Don't book accomodation, the minute you arrive by Train from Barcelona there will be people asking if you need it.
Make sure you get something close to the arena where the run ends.
The locals let you stay with them in their house for next to nothing.
3 of us who went a few years back stayed with this couple and their 3 year old in their 3 bedroom apartment. Along with another 18 people, It was madness.
The best time had over three months was that 1 week in Pamplona.
And dont be afraid to run, it's not that bad if your resonably fit and have half a brain.
You'll love it...
And try the Hamburger Vending machine, thats where the real danger is.
