version3 do you know anything about phenotypikal expression? Do you know any of the facts behind why there has never been a beneficial mutation in a species? Creation scientists are pointing out that brand new specifically complex genetic information cannot be generated by random processes. In other words, information that codes for the beak of a bird cannot be generated randomly. However, genetic variation in beak shapes can be caused by random mutation, as the genome is breaking down and causing variability within the genome. Notice, you do not get new features (like beaks on an organism that never had a beak) by genetic mutations, but you can get variation of the beak by mutations that alter (i.e., destroy) existing beak information. Genetic material increase (making copies of the same genetic info.) won't help either, because this is not brand new specifically complex genetic information! It is the same stuff, but has been duplicated!
