  The diaganol blue lines weren't random. Overall I wanted a paper-like look with the sharp blue links and logo on top. It's a look I'm very keen on. However, it soon became clear the the menu section needed to made more distinct from the main section. That's where the diagonal blue lines came in. I realise there a bit old hat, but they work in seperating the sections and sort of remind of ruled lines on actual piece of paper. I like that.
