Why is this stuff dressed up to be some great thing - Oohh, Dutch design here in NTC, is so fabulous! - It's a glorified piss-up...

well that's not our fault... ok well partly it is.
for most (dutch)designers there design is something different then the hyped style it is being praised in NYC. that's why i said it's two completely different worlds.
Dutch people are somewhat more 'nuchter' (look that one up! it's an important word here)
