actually it isn't rampant procreation if you look at the bigger picture. With the dramatic decline in birthrates among the more affluent strata of society who are too "educated" to want to have children, it is in fact these people who are keeping our population steady. As with the rest of Europe we are experiencing a dramatically declining population which may result in the economy shrinking if families aren't encouraged to have children by tax credits and benefits. Otherwise we would need even more immigration to steady the ship of Britiain, adding strain to the already shattered social cohesion of this country. Even tho we already abandoned the very idea of society, since, as Ms Thatcher said "there is no such thing as society, the free market is the only way human relations can take place". As a corollary to this, these rampant procreaters will provide the workers to feed us when we are worthless to capitalist mode of production in our old age.
Apparently no one's heard of "species being".
