PS3 will dominate games.
Xbox will be pretty damn crazy if they manage to port Linux to it and some other OS.
The CPU's and hardware in the Xbox is much more flexable than the PS3, meaning with a ported OS, the thing will kick ass to use as a server, cluster, or workstation.
But assuming the use for both it what they say on the box? PS3 no doubt. Better games, better graphics, and it's Sony.
