And purity in the media? I can tune into one of hundreds of TV chans right now and witness someone getting killed or torn up with little searching. Dunno what purity your talking about.
If you mean the reception of nudity and sex as something evil, this does seem to be getting more attention now. And it's true, while it's senselessly pushed and promotoed in a subversive way, it is met with equal disgust by the same sources that do so.
Don't try to figure it out, theres no ligical explanation.
And Timberlakes accidental boob exposure?(you can't even see the tit, it's covered by a large ornament). Again, it's difficult to understand reactions especially in this case. Anyone watch cheerleaders on TV? Dallas Cowboys? Hello, doesn't every football game have dozens of beautiful woman clad in wardrobe malfunctions?
If the media approached it's wardrobe malfunction in a way that was the other direction "Breaking news: a wardrobe malfunction reveals Janet's lovely breast. Superbowl goers were lucky to see something so rare at this years superbowl show!" you can bet every soccer mom from here to the red wood forest would have a t-shirt telling you they saw Janets boob (with a flesh colored ribbon on the car to make sure we don't forget).
