Im just trying to say you are the creative person in the situation. Thats why they asked for you to solve their design problem. Yes, of course take their input, but use it as a direction. Satisfy the clients problem by showing them new ideas and ways of thinking. Sure do the 7 key thing, but also show them some really cool alternatives they probably havent thought of. Thats what i meant.
