I just made the switch. I struggled with buying a MAc desktop for testing & design as well as a laptop for portability. I finally caved and bought a Powerbook. Turns out I love it. The initial cost of buying all new apps was a pain in the ass but other then that, no problems.
Although I don't really have problems with my XP machine either, but now I can test on all platforms easily. And instead of VirtualPC I chose to Term Serv into my XP machine at home. Works great for my server as well.
Now I can design on the Mac as well as code .Net. Beautiful!
Only problem I have is with Flash MX. I can't seem to DOCK my Actions palette like I can on a PC. And I haven't found a way to have Virtual Desktops so I could easily switch between the Timeline and Actions and back to the Main Stage.
Anyone?
Dennis.
