I used to smoke pot with Lisa Ling in high school. Seriously. She was already a local celebrity because she was the host of some newsmagazine, and everywhere we went people whispered. Consequently she was concerned with her image, and we had to go around the corner at parties, sometimes ducking down in the bushes of some stranger's yard. She was cool, a real sweet girl, but then she stopped talking to me a year later when she found out I hooked up with her two younger cousins, who were cute, if I remember correctly, but nowhere near Lisa's league.
Now the secret is out, and if I don't get an envelope with $100,000 in tens and twenties by noon pst, the story goes national.
