Let's think about this for a second... You have to respond to her paperwork.
You can either accept it as is, sign them, work out the details, and walk away...
You could also counterfile for 'separation'. If you really love her, and think whatever it is may be able to be worked out, maybe this is the approach you should take.
People separate all the time to work their issues out. It gives you both time to settle down, figure things out, clear your heads and decide what you BOTH want to do, and what is best for you, in a more un-emotional setting.You both have to agree to a divorce, just as you both have to agree to work it out. The only other option is to part ways and think about it for a while.
